My name is Karen Putz.
That's right, I married a Putz. But he's a nice one.
A long time ago, when I graduated from college, I went to work for a non-profit agency. Every year, the Executive Director broke out in a sweat every time the budget came up. Our agency was always scrambling for more money to keep all the programs going.
Then I became president of a local deaf club and I experienced the fundraiser headache on a regular basis. Year after year, we held fundraiser after fundraiser, putting many hours into each event to raise money. Then what do you know, I became the founder of a state non-profit agency and the headaches multiplied as we scraped together funds here and there.
Here's a Different Solution to Fundraising
Custom greeting cards. That's right. Think about it, cards usually bring a smile to someone's face. At the very least, a card sends the message, "I'm thinking about you." Now imagine being able to raise funds for your school, non-profit organization, sports team or club by brightening up someone's life. It's a win-win situation, isn't it? That's why I love this! I enjoy helping others raise the funds they need for their organization, school or club.
It All Started With a Card
When my father passed away, I received several cards in the mail. One card stood out. When I opened the enveloped, I smiled and I cried at the same time. On the front of the card was a picture of my hand entwined in my father's hand, a photo that was taken shortly before he passed away. I had posted the photo on my Facebook page and a dear friend used the custom greeting card system to send me that touching card. It's a card that will never be thrown away.
